Course Description

This is a fast-paced capstone course providing information that is relevant to practicing real estate delivered in a game show format. Students will be divided into two teams and each team will choose a spokesperson who will be responsible for providing answers to questions after having consulted with their team. Once the answer has been given the instructor will discuss why the correct answer was the appropriate choice and why alternative answers were not correct to ensure attendees fully understand the topic presented in the question.

The questions are used as a springboard to present a more detailed explanation of the topic presented. The questions have been divided into seven categories covering areas licensees need to be well versed in, in order to properly guide their clients through the home buying and selling process. There are also questions and categories that make certain licensees are aware of certain rules and regulations centered on agent conduct and license renewal. This course has been approved by the Directors of the Maine Real Estate Commission for three clock hours toward fulfillment of the educational requirements for activation or renewal of a real estate license. This course is appropriate for licensees of all levels and credit is given only for the state that is being taught in.

This course is approved by the Maine Real Estate Commission for 3 CEUs.

Born and raised in the Bangor area, and where she currently live with my husband, two sons and step-daughter. When not at work, Kasey enjoys spending time at her camp on Pushaw Lake with family and seeing her baby niece as much as possible. One of their favorite things to do is to hunt for neat things in the woods.

Tanya Whitlow

Tanya comes to us from a variety of sales positions. For the past 6 years, she was an elected official on the Lewiston school board where she discovered her love for contracts and policies. In her free time, she likes to play poker and trivia, relaxing in a hot tub, and enjoying beach days and camping. She likes to dabble in sugar cookie decorating and sneaker painting. Tanya has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Kaplan University.
