Fair Housing

In this course, students will learn the evolution of fair housing law and will be able to identify the classes that are provided protection under both the State and Federal Fair Housing Acts, especially the relevant information as it pertains to Maine and New Hampshire. Students will discuss allowable exemptions to the acts, discriminatory advertising, and HUD enforcement procedures. This course has been approved by the Directors of the Maine and New Hampshire Real Estate Commissions for three clock hours toward fulfillment of the educational requirements for activation or renewal of a real estate license. *Upon course registration, students will receive a confirmatory email with a link to download and print all class material.*
